Human Powered Health Teams Up with Verge Sport for 2026

Human Powered Health has announced a new partnership with performance apparel brand Verge Sport for the 2026 season. The co-developed race kit made its competitive debut on January 17 at the Santos Tour Down Under, marking a new chapter for the Women’s WorldTour team — both in technology and in design.

Partnerships like this are increasingly common in professional cycling, where brands use team collaborations as both development platforms and marketing channels within the broader technical performance sponsorship landscape in professional cycling.

The “Tailwind” Design: Speed Made Visible

The 2026 Human Powered Health x Verge Sport kit retains the team’s signature warm-to-cool gradient while introducing a bold new element: a dynamic overlay called “Tailwind”. The texture is designed to evoke speed, movement, and momentum.

Creative Director Sam Wiebe explains the concept:

“The concept came from the idea of entering the new season with the wind at our backs. We wanted to visualize wind, movement, and dynamism.”

The gradient continues to represent the performance pillars of Human Powered Health. The Tailwind overlay adds a new visual layer — wind streaks that give the kit a sense of forward motion, even at a standstill.

Sponsors and Partners Featured on the 2026 Kit

Several key partners are prominently featured across the new kit:

  • Chest: Human Powered Health, Verge Sport, HumanGO, Wahoo, Kelly Benefits
  • Sleeves: Black Inc (wheels) and Factor Bikes (bicycles)

Kelly Benefits is a longstanding partner of the team, while Black Inc and Factor Bikes represent the squad’s core equipment relationships.

WorldTour-Level Technology, Athlete by Athlete

Verge Sport brings wind-tunnel-tested cuts, aerodynamic woven sleeves, and highly breathable, cooling fabrics to the Human Powered Health kit. Every piece was developed through individual fittings with the team’s riders to ensure the best possible fit.

Verge Sport founder Michael Magur sums up the philosophy:

“Our goal is simple: give every rider an immediate competitive advantage.”

Verge technology has already been worn to Tour de France stage wins and Olympic gold medals.

Human Powered Health now joins that roster. Close collaborations between apparel brands and teams are a recurring feature in the sport. One of the most visible examples is the long-standing ASSOS partnership with EF Education–EasyPost, where apparel development and team identity are closely linked.

From Performance Lab to Training Camp: A Tailored Approach

The collaboration started well before the season opener. Verge was present at the Wellesley Performance Lab in October, and again at the team’s training camp in Spain, where final adjustments were made to dial in each rider’s fit.

General Manager Ro De Jonckere highlights what sets Verge apart:

“They really prioritize finding the optimal individual fit for our riders. That shows their commitment to innovation and performance.”

This level of personalization is rare in professional cycling — and a clear signal of how seriously both parties are approaching the partnership.

Fans Can Win Official Team Kits

The Human Powered Health x Verge Sport partnership extends beyond the peloton. Throughout the 2026 season, the brands plan to release exclusive behind-the-scenes content, rider-perspective product insights, and fan activations tied to major races — including giveaways of official team kits.

It’s an opportunity for fans to get closer to the team while supporting women’s cycling at the highest level.

Bottom Line: A Strong Foundation for 2026

The partnership between Human Powered Health and Verge Sport combines cutting-edge apparel technology with a bold new identity. The Tailwind kit is more than a visual refresh — it’s a statement of intent heading into the 2026 Women’s WorldTour season.
